Primary (Classes I to V)

The assesment structure & examination for classes I to V comprises of two terms i.e. Term 1 & Term 2:

Subjects

English, Hindi, Sanskrit (only for Class V), Mathematics, EVS & Computer, General Knowledge and Value Education

 

Term-1

(100 Marks)

(1st half of the session)

20 Marks Periodic Assessment (PA) + 80 Marks for Mid Term

 

  1. Periodic Test of 10 marks with syllabus covered till test dates.
  2. Note Book Maintenance: 5 marks
  3. Subject Enrichment: 5 marks
  4. Mid Term Examination: Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus of Mid-Term

 

Term-2

(100 Marks)

(2nd half of the session)

20 Marks Periodic Assessment (PA) + 80 Marks for Mid Term

 

  1. Periodic Test of 10 marks with syllabus covered till test dates.
  2. Note Book Maintenance: 5 marks
  3. Subject Enrichment: 5 marks
  4. Final Term Examination: Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus of Mid-Term.
  • Marks & Grades both will be awarded for Individual Subjects.
  • It is compulsory to appear in both the terms.
  • Absence in any test or exam will directly affect the promotion of the student to next grade.
  • No Re-Exams will be conducted in any case.

 

Middles School (Classes VI to VIII)

The assesment structure & examination for classes VI to VIII comprises of two terms i.e. Term 1 & Term 2:

Term-2

20 Marks Periodic Assessment (PA) + 80 Marks for Mid Term

 

  1. Periodic Test of 10 marks with syllabus covered till test dates.
  2. Note Book Maintenance: 5 marks
  3. Subject Enrichment: 5 marks
  4. Final Term Examination: Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus of Mid-Term.
  • Marks & Grades both will be awarded for individual subjects.

  • Missing out any test or exam will directly affect the promotion of the student to the next class. 
  • Practical / Oral Exams can not be re scheduled for any reasons.
  • 85% attendance mandatory for promotion in next class.
  • Students whose attendance is less than 85% will not be permitted to give Final Exams. Report of short attendance will be sent by the School Management to CBSE Office.

 

Seconday & Senior Secondary School  (Class IX to XII)

As per CBSE guidelines, the board will conduct the Annual Scheme of Assessment at the end of the Session 2025-26.

Class IX and X: Internal Assessment throughout the year would include the 3 periodic tests, subject enrichment, portfolio work/ speaking listening activites / projects / multiple assessments.

Class XI and XII: Internal Assessmnet (throughout the year) would include end of topic or Unit Test / exploratory activities / practical / projects.

  • The total marks will be 100 which include 10% of ( UT1 + UT2 ) + 30% of Mid Term + 60% of Final Term.
  • Appearing in Unit Tests and Exams is compulsory, as marks are added to the final assessment.
  • In Class XI scoring 33% in theory & practical papers separately is essential in Mid Term & Final Term Examination.
  • 85% attendance is a must to be promoted to next grade.
  • Students whose attendance is less than 85% will not be permitted to appear in Final Exam. Report of shport attendance will be sent by the School Management to CBSE Office.
  • Practical / Oral Exams will neither be preponed nor postponed for any reasons.
  • Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year's performance of the student.
  • There is no re-test policy.
  • CBSE has initiated Assessment of Speaking & Listening Skills (ASL) for classses IX - XII to focus on communicative aspects of language learning & problem based on higher order reasoning skills.
